What Do You See? IT Shall Be Seen!

Praise the Lord and Happy New Year! May the manifold love, peace and blessing of God be poured out upon your lives this year in a tangible way. I have an expectation for it. It shall be seen!

During my devotion time today, I came across a message I preached back in 2011. It confirmed in my spirit what God was speaking to me that in order to see a manifestation of love, peace and blessing, we must spend time with the source of these things, God.

So, for today's blog I am going to share this message with you. I left the content in the form of my notes. I encourage you to look up the scriptures, meditate upon them and apply them to your life. Yes, the manifestation of the love, peace and blessing of God is available, but it is only available to those who FIRST spend time with Him.

Jeremiah 1:4-12

Praise the Lord! We are in the last quarter of declaring Understanding the Kingdom of Heaven in 2011. Have you therefore understood all these things (Matthew 13:51-52)? Have you transitioned from or been delivered from religion? Are you now walking in a stronger relationship with the Lord?

God wants RELATIONSHIP. He wants us to see as He sees, but the only way for us to see as He sees is by abiding in Him (John 15:4-7).

Abiding reflects one's dependence on Christ, communion with Him, and obedience to Him. Remaining in these things will result in one's life becoming fruitful for Christ. For the believer, CHRIST ALONE can provide the grace and provision of needs in life. Thus, he must remain faithful to his service for the Lord and to the study of the Scriptures in order to bear fruit.

As long as we understand (see it as He sees it) we will have no problems with our vision (what we see).

Problem of vision
Purpose of vision
Power of vision - Life Without Limits - Nothing Is Impossible With God.

PROBLEM OF VISION
-Vision problems. Can't see tomorrow for today because of vision problems.
-Over 100 eye diseases that affect vision. We are going to look at four of them

    1. Nearsighted (Myopia) - short sighted. Can only see things close up
    a. Jeremiah was nearsighted.
        b. He said he couldn't do what God said he could do because
he couldn't see past being a child.
        c. Nearsighted people cannot see tomorrow for today.

    2. Farsighted (hyperopic) - seeing things at a far distance rather than close at hand.
    a. Jeremiah was also farsighted.
    b. He knew of God but was having difficulty seeing the power
of what God was saying right to him.
    c. Farsighted people know God, but when reading the Word
can't see the God of the Word. (JESUS IS THE WORD!)

    3. Cataracts - An abnormality of the eye characterized by opacity (dullness) of the lens. A clouding of the lens in the eye.
    a. Mark 8:22-25 The man at Bethsiada had cataracts.
    b. It wasn't until after he had been touched by Jesus that
    he could see clearly.
    c. Unless you have been touched by Jesus, you will suffer from
    spiritual cataracts.

    4. Glaucoma - A dangerous build up of internal eye pressure, which can damage the eye's optic nerve that transmits visual
information to the brain. It is called the silent thief of sight. Leading cause of blindness if don't comply with the program
        of prescribed medications.
    a. Gideon suffered from glaucoma
    b. Judges 6:11-17
    c. Prescribed medication for spiritual glaucoma is obedience

PURPOSE OF VISION
-The purpose of vision is found in the definition of vision; the ability to see tomorrow today.
-God wants us to see tomorrow today no matter what we see today.
-Jeremiah 1:4
-Don't say what you see. Say what God is saying.
-God said 5 key things to Jeremiah

1. Say not that I am a child
2. For thou shalt go to all that I send thee
3. Whatever I command thee thou shalt speak
4. Be not afraid of their faces
5. For I am with thee to deliver thee

Five = Grace
God's grace is sufficient and will enable you to see tomorrow today
God's grace is sufficient and will enable you to see through pain, problems and perplexities of life
God's grace is sufficient and will enable you to say, "When I am weak, then am I strong."
God's grace (the power and equipment for ministry) will enable you to see it as He sees it.
Jeremiah 1:11-12

God wants to get us to the place where we see it as He sees it. He is waiting for us to fellowship with Him long enough so that He can talk to us and tell us great and mighty things we don't know. He is waiting to touch our mouth so that we can say what He has put in our hearts from spending time with Him. Then He will ask, "What do you see?" When we say what we see according to the Word of God, God will say, "You have seen well; for I will hasten my word to perform it. When you speak God's words, the words will come true.

I trust this has blessed you as it has blessed me. I'm excited! It shall be seen in 2013, but it all begins by sitting at His feet, listening, learning and loving on Him.

Love, Peace and Blessings!

Dr. Sheila
