God CANNOT Lie


Well, I know you know that God cannot lie, but, I also know that many believers are challenged with believing the truth of that statement. The reasoning behind it may be because of a parent who made promises and didn't come through. Perhaps someone else in your life continually broke promises. I don't know, nor will I try to justify why those people in your life didn't keep their word. Nevertheless, that does not change the fact that God CANNOT lie!

The antithesis of that fact is the fact that the devil IS a liar. He has gone throughout your life creating situations and circumstances to get you to doubt God. So, all the times your parents, peers and other people let you down was a set up by the devil. Now that you are saved, God, by the power of the Holy Ghost wants to reverse the curse.

How do you reverse all the years of disappointment? Well, it's simple. You must take the time to find out what God says in His Word and begin to meditate, memorize and speak it every day. For example, Isaiah 55:11 says, "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Meditate on this verse, memorize it and say, "Since God's Word is always fruitful, it will always do what it was sent out to do, then I will only speak God's word pertaining to my situation. God CANNOT lie! His word will come to pass in my life."

Once you begin to do this with every situation, you will find that you will begin to take God at His word instead of believing the enemies lies. Now, let me warn you, the devil is going to fight you tooth and nail, but don't quit! He is going to challenge everything that you have been saying and believing. Resist him by continuing to speak the Word no matter what you see, feel or hear. Remember he is a liar and he is still trying to get you to believe that God is lying to you and that He will not come through for you.

As you continue in the Word in this fashion you will begin to operate with a new mindset. You will see that God CANNOT lie! You will experience that God IS truthful to His word and FAITHFUL to perform it; so rejoice! You are developing spiritual character that will benefit every area of your life.
So purpose in your heart to continue in the truth of God's Word. As you continue you will come to know and experience the truth and you will be free from the bondage of believing the devil. Hallelujah!

Expect God To Do It

This has been an exciting year! We have seen the hand of the LORD at work in our lives, experiencing His love, peace and blessings. God has taken the good, bad and ugly, and put it all in the mix to work out for the good. Now, a new year is on the horizon. What will come of this year? What new journey will be embarked upon?
